In ancient Israel, a counselor was portrayed as a wise king, such as Solomon, giving guidance to his people (1 Kings 4:34; Micah 4:9).

4 Νοε 2019 · Jesus is called the Wonderful Counselor because He alone can give us guidance, help, and deliverance through His wisdom and miracles. He causes everything to work together for a twofold purpose: The greatest good of mankind and the highest glory to God.
He shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God. He shall be called Everlasting Father, Prince of peace. His name is Jesus, for He will save His people from sin.
