Events. The DHS is proud to offer programs to educate the public on local history. Our programs include lectures, tours of historic properties, walking tours, etc. DHS is always looking for new ways to promote local history. All our events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.
Welcome to the Davidson Historical Society. The DHS promotes an understanding and appreciation of the history of Davidson, North Carolina and its surrounding area. The town of Davidson was founded with the establishment of Davidson College in 1837.
