The Titanic is world famous largely because it sank on its maiden voyage in 1912. But its sister ship, the Britannic, was just as unlucky and doomed, albeit for different reasons.
The wreck of HMHS Britannic is at in about 400 feet (122 m) of water. [4] It was discovered on 3 December 1975 by Jacques Cousteau, who explored it.
