Downloading a map When you start the TomTom GO Navigation app you have to download a map. The app will suggest one or more maps for you to download, based on your current location. Select Download to install the suggested map or select More Maps to browse maps of other areas.
Your map change reports are sent to TomTom in real time when your GO has an internet connection. All map changes are verified by TomTom. These verified changes are then available as part of the next map update, which you can get when your device is connected to the internet and you are logged into your TomTom account.
