I've been working on a homebrew list of magic items for my home game for a long time. My quarantine project has been to organize them into this big ol' PDF called 'Remnants'. I've designed item cards with custom item artwork done by me for easy printing + cutting.
This weapon looks like a normal pistol but fires bullets made of solid force. It has 15 charges and regains 1d12 charges at dawn. It functions like a typical pistol except for the following: it makes no sound, it deals force damage, it doesn't need to be reloaded, can't misfire and expends a charge each time it's shot.
Smash. Weapons with the smash property offer their wielders a bonus to Strength (Athletics) checks to knock down wooden doors. The bonus is +2 for one-handed weapons, and +5 for both two-handed weapons and versatile weapons used with two hands. Spell Empowerment.
I made free printable magic item cards for 5e out of every common magic item, and added some homebrew ones as well (clearly marked so that you can avoid them if you only want the original). I enjoy having a deck of magic items that I can draw from when generating loot for my players, and hope some of you will too.
