9 Οκτ 2009 · If there are stored fault codes, the FI light will flash. The fuel injection system warning light uses long ( 1.3 second ) and short ( .5 second ) flashes to give out the fault code. A long flash is used to indicate the first digit of a double digit fault code ( i.e. 10 or above ).

23 Φεβ 2007 · I went ahead and looked up the code (pg 6-13) and there is no 3 or 5 blinks code, but 8 blinks says is TP sensor circuit malfunction: Loose or poor contact on ECT sensor; Open or short circuit in TP sensor wire; Faulty TP sensor; The symptom would be poor engine performance response and when operating the throttle quickly
4 Δεκ 2013 · If there are any fault codes stored in memory you should be able to retrieve them by turning the key to the ON position (don't start the engine) and count the blinks. A long blink counts as 10 and short blinks are single digits.
19 Δεκ 2010 · The blink codes should come out in ascending order. You may be miscounting. Try clearing the DTC by shorting brown and green wires together in the SCS connector under the seat (dummy connector).
26 Ιαν 2014 · 1999-2000 Honda CBR 1100XX FI Light Fix. The 1999-2000 (FI with analogue gauges) models are prone to a fault within the loom. Symptoms are the FI flashing or staying steadily on for no apparent reason, the bike can still run but can also cut out without warning.
