23 Φεβ 2007 · Hello everyone, new to the forum, here. My question is about the FI flash codes. The bike was flashing 3 long, followed by 5 short today. It's an '06, 1000. I searched to see if anyone had the manual for the '06 1000s but came up with nothing.
4 Φεβ 2016 · For background, soon after purchasing my 2005 bird recently with 42 000klms on it, the FI started coming on whilst riding. Getting the code out showed that it was code 25 — knock sensor. When you look in the service manual about code 25 it says the following: Loose or poor contacts on knock sensor connector.
7 Ιουλ 2004 · If you have installed a Scorpio Sr-i500 alarm, it could trigger your FI indicator, did on mine, dealer checked out, cleared code, plugged alarm in and it came back on! So... gotta call Scorpio for possible fix.
19 Δεκ 2010 · Test blink codes again by restarting the engine (or letting it crank for 10 seconds if the engine won't start). Carefully count blink codes. Better get a manual for this.
4 Δεκ 2013 · If there are any fault codes stored in memory you should be able to retrieve them by turning the key to the ON position (don't start the engine) and count the blinks. A long blink counts as 10 and short blinks are single digits.

All owners of the Honda CBR 600 F4i will sooner or later have to deal with such a problem as the flashing of the FI (MIL) light. These short and not much longer blinks are the same error codes. Each blink carries a certain number, which in turn will tell you about your malfunction.
