9 Οκτ 2009 · If there are stored fault codes, the FI light will flash. The fuel injection system warning light uses long ( 1.3 second ) and short ( .5 second ) flashes to give out the fault code. A long flash is used to indicate the first digit of a double digit fault code ( i.e. 10 or above ).
23 Φεβ 2007 · I went ahead and looked up the code (pg 6-13) and there is no 3 or 5 blinks code, but 8 blinks says is TP sensor circuit malfunction: Loose or poor contact on ECT sensor; Open or short circuit in TP sensor wire; Faulty TP sensor; The symptom would be poor engine performance response and when operating the throttle quickly
19 Δεκ 2010 · Test blink codes again by restarting the engine (or letting it crank for 10 seconds if the engine won't start). Carefully count blink codes. Better get a manual for this.
7 Νοε 2023 · Unfortunately, the F1 code issue persists. Even more concerning, when I took the bike for a ride, I noticed that it started dying at idle when I came to stoplights. I'm at a loss as to what might be causing this issue.
4 Δεκ 2013 · If there are any fault codes stored in memory you should be able to retrieve them by turning the key to the ON position (don't start the engine) and count the blinks. A long blink counts as 10 and short blinks are single digits. So, three long blinks and 4 short blinks would be fault code 34.
27 Ιαν 2013 · The warning light should start to flash when the bridging wire is reconnected, indicating that all the fault codes have been erased. However, if the light flashes twenty times then the memory has not been erased and the procedure should be repeated.
All owners of the Honda CBR 600 F4i will sooner or later have to deal with such a problem as the flashing of the FI (MIL) light. These short and not much longer blinks are the same error codes. Each blink carries a certain number, which in turn will tell you about your malfunction.
