1 Σεπ 2011 · I decided to pick up some Hoppes No. 9 solvent, and Hoppes Elite Oil. Now, my question is on the tandem use of them. For cleaning now, I give 'em a good wipe down, then a wipe down with No. 9, I allow it to sit for a bit, wipe that off, and follow up with the Elite Oil.

5 Μαρ 2003 · All I use is Hoppes on my guns. The bore solvent is great stuff, and their oil is awesome. My brother and his business partner, who is a gun smith and has a manufacturing license, uses Hoppes on very expensive machine guns.
20 Φεβ 2006 · When I hit the sporting goods store to buy more, the Hoppes Elite equivalent products caught my eye. They claim to work more quickly, have no petroleum distillates or amonia, and are relatively safer to use and scent free.
