11 Ιουν 2023 · There are claims that the Elite oil will damage nitron finishes. I'm happy with the regular Hoppe's stuff, and I like the smell. They did change something years back to reduce it.

1 Σεπ 2011 · It has worked beautifully so far, but I'm curious as to whether or not No. 9 has any ill effect if left on the gun. It bills itself as a solvent, not a lubricator. Could I experience any nastiness by missing a spot? The Elite Oil is working spectacularly!
20 Φεβ 2006 · When I hit the sporting goods store to buy more, the Hoppes Elite equivalent products caught my eye. They claim to work more quickly, have no petroleum distillates or amonia, and are relatively safer to use and scent free.
15 Ιαν 2006 · Does anyone have any experience with this Hoppes Elite? Does it work better, worse, or even with Hoppes #9 solvent or Outer's Nitro Solvent? -both of which I grew up cleaning my 22's and ought-6's with. Also picked up some Breakfree CLP for the first time.
