  2. The ‘Ars Poetica,’ or the ‘Epistle to the Pisos,’ is a 476-line poem, initially written in dactylic hexameter, by the Roman poet Horace. The title ‘Ars Poetica’ means ‘The Poetic Art’ or ‘The Poet’s Skill’ in Latin.
