If the complaint relates to a patient who has died, ensure that we have consent to share information with the person making the complaint. Offer a face to face meeting as soon as possible. Acknowledge receipt of the complaint in writing within 2 working days using the standard template (Appendix 2).
How to complain. Our information, How to Make a Complaint, will be available to all of our users from the outset of their treatment as part of their induction to the service. This information will also be available on the Hospice website, at the Hospice reception, and in the Hospice retail outlets.
