What is society? That is to say what is the distinctive nature of the collectivities, large and small, which human beings inhabit? What is the nature of the relationships between the various parts or elements in the collectivities such as individuals, groups, families and institutions? How, and perhaps more ambitiously why, do societies change?

23 Αυγ 2022 · The sociology of tourism studies tourists’ relationships, roles, and motivations and the ongoing exchange among tourists, institutions, and host communities. Tourism cannot be treated in isolation since it embodies all tourism practices in a system they operate in.
The main purpose of this study was to explore: “How Melies Boutique hotel promotes the value of good hospitality?” and “What is the relationship between the quality of services and products offered by Melies Boutique hotel and customer satisfaction?”
Hence, the aim of introducing sociology of tourism is to: introduce students to sociological understanding of tourism and travel. allow students to engage in discussion of concepts and theories relating to the sociology of tourism using examples from everyday experience of travel and tourism.
