Red Jacket gasoline pumps are not designed to handle abrasives or foreign particles in the product being pumped. Product temperature must never exceed 30°C (85°F) as the submersible motors are equipped with thermal overload protector. Pumping water will overload the motor and damage the bearings.

This is the recommended procedure to use: Set the pump input speed to: 2300±5 RPM for HPR55 to 135. 1950±5 RPM for HPR210. Use a loading valve or relief valve to limit the pump output pressure (at port "P") to 1450±73 psi.
