All Regular, Special, Emergency and Executive Session Meetings of the Houston County Commissioners Court will be called and conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Government Code.
Meetings Information. City Council meetings are conducted each week on Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. and Wednesdays beginning at 9:00 a.m. (see format below). Any citizen may speak before Council on a Tuesday, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
The following rules of procedure shall govern all meetings and proceedings of the city council: Rule 1. Meetings Generally. a. The city council shall conduct its regular weekly meeting in two daily sessions commencing at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday and at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, respectively, of each calendar week.
