I recommend looking at the Zestimate, the Redfin estimate, and the three estimates that Realtor provides (CoreLogic, Collateral, and Quantarium). Chances are at least one of these will be off, but if most of them agree on a general range, it should be close to that.

In all seriousness, the Zestimate is wholly inaccurate. Zillow lost over 1 billion dollars in 2021 when they were using their Zestimate to buy and sell houses. On $400k houses, I have seen Zestimates that were $200k and Zestimates that were $600k.
Before Zillow started buying/selling houses and before the pandemic weirdness, Zestimate a were very accurate as long as the house was easily comp’able and the data on the comparable was accurate.

6 Μαρ 2022 · Zestimate Accuracy Zillow never claims to be 100% accurate. If all the homes within a six-block radius are very similar to each other, a Zillow estimate will be much more accurate, perhaps within 10%, because there are not enough specific variances to throw it off.
