Below is a list of Pokémon grouped into their evolutionary chains for easy browsing. The charts also specify the conditions by which they evolve. Note that for most conditional evolutions (such as Friendship), the Pokémon needs to level up once the condition is met in order to evolve.
After accumulating enough experience points, it will level up; most Pokémon evolve into a new species of Pokémon whenever they reach a certain level. Pokémon's stats also increase every time it levels up, and they will also learn new moves at certain levels as well.
In diamond & Pearl, several Pokémon evolve into their evolution based on Gender. For example Combee only evolves into Vespiquen if its female, and considering that Combee's are 87.5% Male, it is a feat indeed. The native Sinnoh Pokédex in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl features only 151 Pokémon, and strangely doesn't even include all the new Pokémon introduced in this generation. As usual, the region's starters are at the beginning and evolutions from different generations are grouped together.

Diamond & Pearl also brings back many features from Gold & Silver that have since been removed. Bringing 107 New Pokémon into the mix, bringing us to a total of 493 Pokémon, including many evolutions of old Pokémon, Diamond & Pearl completely overhauls the battling system.
