However, it'd be nice to know details about what constitutes a view in the context of a video post. Videos can play automatically even if you're just scrolling by without watching them. Are video views only counted if the user watches a certain number of seconds of the video?
I think it was last year when I first heard that Facebook videos could be monetized with in stream ads. If you have over 10,000 followers on a Facebook page, and your videos have been viewed enough, you are probably eligible.
A view is when someone clicks on the post and is taken to the post landing page. I'm not sure if views only count once, I would assume it would be every visit because it's a page view counter. People without accounts count.
I noticed that my friends stories will be on my feed when I am scrolling down it. I was wondering does it count as a view when I scroll down and the story begins to play? Seems this gets asked a lot and NO ONE answers. I wonder the same thing.
In your Page Insights, you can see the number of people who viewed your Facebook Page.
