Informal Ways to Say Goodbye. Γεια σου, Ya Soo, Goodbye. As mentioned in a previous article, Γεια σου (Ya Soo) is a common way to say hello in Greek. To make things a bit more confusing with this word, you will also hear this used as a way to say, “goodbye”. Τα λέμε, Ta Leme, We Will Speak Again.
