30 Αυγ 2005 · The Time Windows manage to pump out some clean bass down to around 40 Hz, and in my modest living room, they sound spectacular, as good as the sound of the recordings or signals they are fed. I wish I could see a similar design utilizing modern drivers from SEAS or Scanspeak.
11 Μαΐ 2009 · I just scored a pair of DCM Time Window 3 in near mint condition on ebay. I read a lot about these speakers but never really listened to a pair. How good are they? I will be using them with my Kenwood 700m amplifier but I also might be driving them with Sony's TA-5650 V-FET integrated. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.
I know you're not asking me, but the TF400s are very good speakers. They lack a little of the magic of the 500/600 because they have smaller enclosures and don't have the rear/rear-side-firing tweeters, but I think all of the coaxial designs from DCM sound far better than they have any right to.
17 Μαΐ 2006 · Deli, some one correct me if I am wrong but I believe that the Time Windows only had 2 models. I believe what you are referring to is the Time Frames (Models 200, 400, etc.). I have Time Frames and prefer them away from the walls by at least 18". The distance seems to enhance the bass and the separation.
25 Μαΐ 2011 · I find the Time Window's bass to be pretty good to about 40 hz, but generrally use a subwoofer with my Time Windows. Among my other favorite speakers here are KLH 6s and Marantz Imperial 6s. Quote
6 Απρ 2017 · DCM's Time Frame TF1000 is a tall, floor-standing loudspeaker that bears a superficial resemblance to a planar speaker. In fact, it is a relatively conventional box loudspeaker, using a shallow but wide six-sided cabinet with a depth that tapers from 7.5" deep at the base to 5" at the top.
