If you need to reschedule or cancel your qualification exam appointment, you must do so a minimum of 10 business days in advance to avoid any fees. Appointments rescheduled or cancelled within 10 business days will incur the existing fee at the time the appointment is changed.
31 Ιαν 2024 · The Series 7 exam costs $300 for the exam fee, plus $50 to $200 for optional study materials. A Series 7 license costs $380 to $900 total on average. The corequisite SIE exam costs $80. FINRA requires passing scores on both exams for Series 7 licensure to buy, sell, or trade security products.
Exam appointment times include an additional 30 minutes for taking the tutorial and completing the post-exam survey. Some exams have additional unscored (pretest) questions. Refer to each exam content outline for more information.

19 Οκτ 2023 · The exam will last 225 minutes (3 hours 45 minutes) and cost $245. The passing mark for the exam is 72 percent, which means the candidate must correctly answer at least 90 questions. FINRA will not issue a tangible certificate to the candidate upon exam completion.
12 Απρ 2024 · To take the Series 7 exam, you must be sponsored by a FINRA member firm or a self-regulatory organization (SRO). Firms apply for candidates to take the exam by filing a Uniform Application for Security Industry Registration or Transfer (Form U4). There is also an exam fee that is commonly covered by the sponsoring firm.
