There are several ways to value a massive encyclopedia on the scale of the English version of Wikipedia and each method has its merits. Centives decided to estimate its value by examining how much it would cost an individual or a company to develop an encyclopedia that was similar to Wikipedia.
Wikipedia is my first (but not only!) stop whenever I need to know anything. It's worth a few dollars every year. I donate a tenner a month as I genuinely think it's one of the most important resources we have. I find it wild how underappreciated Wikipedia is.
