How do I adjust the cut off switch on my air compressor? First, locate the switch and turn off the compressor. Use the volt-meter to test the switch and determine its current settings.
Open a drain valve to slowly let the compressed air escape and wait until the compressor starts. Note the pressure at which it starts (the cut-in pressure). Adjust when necessary.
4 Φεβ 2019 · First of all, turn off your air compressor. To adjust the cut-in pressure, turn the big set screw on the pressure switch clockwise to increase the pressure and anti-clockwise to decrease the pressure. Now, adjust the differential pressure switch to change the cut-out pressure.
