On this page, find information on applying for an alcohol permit online using the Georgia Tax Center (GTC). Alcohol permits are registered by representatives (sales or promotional) and must be associated with an existing Georgia licensed manufacturer, wholesaler/distributor, broker, or importer.

The liquor license renewal application can be completed online through the Georgia Tax Center, and there are 3 types of license renewals available: Retail Alcohol Renewal; Non-Retail Alcohol Renewal; Bulk Alcohol Renewal; You can find all the information you need regarding liquor license renewal on the Georgia Department of Revenue website.
All applicants for new alcohol licenses and special events permits will begin their alcohol license application by visiting the Georgia Tax Center website at: https://gtc.dor.ga.gov. On the website above, applicants will either “Register a New Georgia Business” or “Register an Existing Business.”
Please note in 2022 the Georgia Department of Revenue has implement a state-wide centralized application process for retail alcohol licensing. You will be required to register use the Georgia Tax Center (GTC) portal at https://gtc.dor.ga.gov/_/.
