As the final step in reconciling your credit card account, you can record a transaction in the check register (to represent a handwritten check), or prepare a check to print with Quicken. For specific procedures, see Reconcile a spending account.
The online balance in Quicken is the balance obtained from the financial institution when the data was last updated. For an active account, the current and ending balances in Quicken may never match the online balance in Quicken or the financial institution nor should they.
I suggest you enter a self-referencing transfer transaction: open the register, press Ctrl + N, set the date (earlier than the first transaction), payee (for example, Opening Balance) and the appropriate amount.

29 Μαρ 2024 · Select the transaction in the Reconcile Bank Statement window, click the Edit button, correct the transaction, return to the Reconcile Bank Statement window, and continue. If your bank made an error, complete your reconciliation and allow Quicken to adjust the difference. Contact your bank.
