2. Ordinate. Use a similar procedure (Steps a - d) to format the ordinate of your graph, replacing “X axis” with “Y axis”, “Horizontal” with “Vertical”, and ‘Bottom” and “Top” with “Left” and “Right”. The ordinate title should be Absorbance (au) the scale should be from –0.25 to 3.6.
Select a Region. Select a region for additional data analysis. Click or tap and drag across the graph to select a region. If needed, drag the boundary lines to resize the region.
The axis color, range of the plot can be selected from Plot>Axis options. To access the different axis, click on the down arrow at the left of the “X” to bring up “Y,X2,Y2”. You can change the limits, grid, tick marks independently for each axis. Under color you can change the axis colors and background color.
