13 Αυγ 2023 · Here are the steps to clean a ductless mini-split air conditioner: Open the indoor air handler’s cover and remove the filters. Rinse the filters in either warm or room temperature water. Lift and remove the front panel and the louvers. Unscrew the bodyshell and take it out.
23 Αυγ 2022 · Then, remove the front panel to locate the filter, which you clean with washing detergent and rinse with lots of water. Once clean, air-dry it thoroughly before returning it to your HVAC. Then, clean the evaporator coil, which you can access by removing the unit’s cabinet.
To clean your mini-split’s indoor unit, start by simply wiping down the unit’s exterior surface with a damp cloth and then drying it with a dry cloth. Next, locate and remove the mini-split filter and clean it with a mild detergent and water. To do so, you’ll have to remove the system’s front panel.
