24 Ιουν 2024 · Step 1 Diagnosis Step. Turn on the A/C. If the unit turns on but does not spin, use a screwdriver to spin the fan blade. If the blade spins freely, the capacitor is bad. If the blade does not spin freely, there is another issue, and a professional should be called. Step 2 Disconnect Power. Turn off the power to the unit.

The purpose of the secondary drain pan is catch water in case the condensate drain line becomes clogged or the main condensate pan rusts through.
18 Σεπ 2024 · Use a soft brush or fin comb to brush any dirt and debris off of the air conditioner’s evaporator coils. Gently vacuum the AC’s interior with a brush attachment, then spray the coils with your cleaning solution. Wipe them with a clean cloth and let them dry completely before reassembling the unit.
