To clean the inside coils, you would do this: Turn off the AC system (very important) Find the panel where you can access your inside evaporator coils and take the panel off. The screws may be hidden under HVAC tape so you'd have to pull the tape off. Put on some gloves and/or goggles.
I think it was made originally for window units, but worked just fine on my central air setup. You just spray it on the coils, it foams up pretty good and then it just dissolves and drips off. The condensation that forms on the coils is supposed to rinse away what doesn't run off.
