18 Μαρ 2020 · I had to link my EG account to my shift because they game refused to let me connect without a EG account. Seems to be consistent across most games that were locked to epic and have cross play. Link your EG account. if that doesn't work you'll likely have to manually let it through your firewall.

Any user that does not already have an existing SHiFT account can create one directly from in-game in Borderlands 3. From either the Main Menu or In-Game Pause Menu, go to the Social menu. Tab over to the SHiFT Menu. If you already have an account associated, you will be brought to the Key Entry or Rewards page.
Not sure if anyone is still having this issue, but you need verify your D.O.B in your SHiFT account.
I can’t seem to link my shift account to my Nintendo switch version of BL3. I tried going to the shift site and it’s says not able at this time. I can’t mail anyone not on switch or receive mail.
14 Μαρ 2020 · I have a shift account and it is linked to my Steam account and it works fine with Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel but for some reason I can´t connect to Shift in Borderlands 3. Any ideas ?
You'll need to link your SHiFT account to your Twitch account. This can be done through the SHiFT website and following these steps once finished: On your Twitch page, click your profile icon in the upper right
