Conversions between moles and grams of a chemical can be done by using molar mass, which is the addition of the atomic masses of the atoms making up that molecule. Atomic mass is the mass in grams of 1 mole, 6.022 x 1023 atoms, of an element. These atomic masses are listed on most periodic tables.
