Apparently what you have to do and feel free to correct me is to install Stremio on the Shield AND on a, say, PC. Then add the addon on the PC and let it sync to the Shield. Anyway that seems to have worked for me.
15 Αυγ 2024 · I have a Samsung S90C TV. I’m aware that the TV does not support Dolby Vision. I installed it via Tizen directly on the TV, but due to the DV limitations, it may be easier to operate with an external device. I’ve installed Stremio on my other TVs’ devices via Fire Stick.
9 Αυγ 2022 · You can install it from Google Play or download it from our official website (under “Stremio for Android TV”). Stremio for Android TV was built for D-pad navigation, is optimised for the Android TV environment and uses ExoPlayer as the internal video library.

2 Ιουν 2023 · Try going on the stremio downloads and download from there. Make sure it’s an updated version. It works great on my phone and laptop (I’ve used it for 3 different phone switches due to technical issues with my phone and for the past 5+ years)
Use a file explorer like X-plore (in app store) download the apk from stream.io. Use X-plore to install. Manage your streamio add on s from a pc.
