I had a full inv so the boots dropped on the floor during the part where Tenzing asks me to put spikes on the boots. I thought I could get another pair but it appears I am stuck since I cant get another set of boots. Is there another way to get climbing boots so I can finish this quest?
Climbing boots are used in the Death Plateau, Troll Stronghold, Eadgar's Ruse, and Troll Romance quests, and are used for an elite Treasure Trails clue. They can be taken to the blacksmith in Burthorpe to produce Spiked boots.
In exchange, he’ll offer an alternative route to the Plateau, and a pair of climbing boots! While you can call it quits here, it’s highly recommended to finish the quest before leaving. This is because if you lose the boots, Tenzing will ask for another 10 trout and bread to replace them.
I think you need to get through the dialogue where you get permission for the smithing guy's son to join that army or whatever and bring an iron bar for the boots. You will then tell him you don't have the boots and at that point you should get another pair.
If you can get the 1 month + 7 days, I would recommend using the quest helper plugin on runelite. If you use theyr sugested quest path, you unlock a lot of content ( spirit tree, fary ring, new areas, etc...), and you get some decent lvl's to boost you to mid game, and you still have membership left to be able to make a bond and have some fun.
Run west, north-west along the path, and head south, until you reach the house and talk to Tenzing, pressing 1 and spacebar repeatedly until your inventory is filled with climbing boots. Use your ring of dueling to teleport back to castle wars.
