To install mods, download them from www.nexusmods.com/subnautica and place their mod folder into the QMods folder. A properly installed mod folder looks like this. Be careful, some mods put their mod folder into a folder called QMods in their .zip.
26 Οκτ 2018 · To test your mod place the .dll that you generated and mod.json into a folder with your mods name (matching the ID in mod.json). Place this folder in the Subnautica/QMods or SubnauticaZero/QMods directory then start up your game.

5 Ιουν 2023 · Extract the zip and copy the contents from that extracted folder to your Subnautica folder. Launch the game and quit the game. This will create a Qmods folder in your Subnautica folder, assuming you did the previous steps correctly.
20 Σεπ 2020 · Some mods such as Nitrox (a multiplayer mod for Subnautica) use an executable (EXE) or Windows Installer (MSI) files which cannot be installed via Vortex. To get started you'll need to visit the Nexus Mods page for Subnautica and choose a mod you'd like to download.
For adding the mods, download your mod of choice, and extract it (most are .zip and can be extracted with any Win10 version by default, but a few are .rar and you need a program (free) for that) to "C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Subnautica\QMods" (no quotes).
