25 Σεπ 2024 · For some BIOS, you will need to place the BIOS files directly into the BIOS folder. Do not use a subfolder. A subfolder is a folder either pre-created in Emulation/bios or a folder you will need to create according to the tables below.
You need to select the directory where the bios is located within pcsx2 itself before you can just boot games from the steam library. Config > Plugins/Bios selector scroll down to BIOS search paths and select wherever you placed the bios.

Can confirm.... you need to place the pcsx2 (ps2) bios files in the emulation/bios folder. Just drop them inside the bios folder (not in another sub folder). Just in the root of the bios folder, it will work.

4 Οκτ 2024 · A BIOS file is a copy of the hardware’s operating system to play each game on your system of choice properly. Here, I will go over how to download each one so that your games work properly: Open Emudeck and scroll down to the bottom on the left side, where it says BIOS checker.
Setup Required: Many emulators require BIOS files. Generally place them in the Emulation/bios directly with no subfolders. There are a few exceptions. You can check the Cheat Sheet for more information. Please note - ROMs, BIOS files, or any other copyrighted files are not included in the install.
