Popular Problems. Algebra. Graph x=4. x = 4 x = 4. Since x = 4 x = 4 is a vertical line, there is no y-intercept and the slope is undefined. Slope: Undefined. y-intercept: No y-intercept. Find two points on the line. x y 4 0 4 1 x y 4 0 4 1. Graph the line using the slope, y-intercept, and two points. Slope: Undefined. y-intercept: No y-intercept.

Given any two points on a line, we can algebraically calculate the slope using the slope formula, m = rise run = y2 − y1 x2 − x1. Any nonvertical line can be written in slope-intercept form, y = mx + b, from which we can determine, by inspection, the slope m and y -intercept (0, b).
10 Μαρ 2024 · Use \(m = \frac{\text{rise}}{\text{run}}\) to find the slope of a line from its graph; Find the slope of horizontal and vertical lines; Use the slope formula to find the slope of a line between two points; Graph a line given a point and the slope; Solve slope applications
