12 Αυγ 2013 · I have had a quick look around here and have not found one and so I thought I would put together a really simple guide of how to Install a 6 CD Changer to the trunk of your BMW E46.
Install the CD changer's mounting hardware. The CD changer will come with a set of brackets, typically designed so you can mount the changer in one of three ways--horizontally (flat), vertically, or hanging (for example, in the trunk underneath the package shelf.)
Each side requires two screws to hold the mounting brackets in place. 2. Find a location within the vehicle where the CD changer can be installed horizontally, upright or on an incline. 3. Place the JVC 12-disc CD changer in the vehicle where you want it installed, like a car trunk.
9 Νοε 2016 · If all you want is the changer, search the compartment it goes in for a nice pre wired plug, usually tucked behind the carpet, and plug it in as long as you have the mounting bracket.
25 Νοε 2010 · Determine the location for installing your new CD changer. They can be placed in the car trunk, under a seat or any other convenient spot. Be sure that the place you choose will enable you to hide the changer cables and power cord.
2 Οκτ 2012 · If your car is prewired for a cd-changer you will need to buy a new trunk liner for the left rear. You'll also need to purchase a new storage bin since the size of the compartment does change. The changer btw goes in the drivers side rear.
