In your Windows menu search for the Asio Link Pro Tool. Run it. Change the Channels in and out to the amount of channels your Apollo has (i think). In my case 4.

I have an Apollo Twin MKII quad core, 2017 edition, and a custom laptop with Windows 10/i7-9750H. I've been struggling for the whole weekend over those cracks in my audio. Did the same thing as you did, but in Ableton instead of Adobe Audition.
14 Νοε 2022 · Using UAD Software with Windows 11. There are currently no known compatibility issues with Apollo audio interfaces or UAD-2 DSP accelerators. Although untested operating systems may work, they are not supported by Universal Audio.
