2 Απρ 2022 · I want to get rid of Windows and install Linux Mint 20.3 on my USB stick. It does not have Legacy BIOS, it has UEFI and the ability to boot from USB somehow does not work (possibly by design). Is there any work around?

8 Οκτ 2018 · So I decided to attempt to INSTALL Linux Mint - and install it did! It's 'up and running' with a very long Ethernet cable connecting to my router in the next room. I confirm that the computer is 'on-line'!

Once you have downloaded all the files, You can now create a CD/DVD rom or ISO file which can you use to install the software you have downloaded in your offline PC. Start with a clean install or VM.
12 Νοε 2022 · I would recommend unplugging the Mint drive before proceeding, (you cant break something that is not there). Install Ubuntu using guiverc's link above. replace the Mint drive and sudo update-grub to put Mint on Ubuntu's GRUB menu.
