Just got a n64 to go along with my snes and I have a few games. I saw that certain games will only run with an expansion pak, so is it worth picking up? What exactly does upping the memory do besides giving more storage?

Hey guys, I just installed Retroarch on my PS4 and I gotta say it's AMAZING! Played a ton of SNES and it was great. However, when I tried running Super Mario 64 using Mupen64Plus it just doesn't run well. Stutters with low framerates and audio is bad. Does anyone know how to fix that?
To download add-ons, select the game on PlayStation®App and select Add-Ons. Select an add-on and choose the Download to Console button. You need to link a console to download games remotely.
20 Φεβ 2022 · Could we see playable N64 games on a jailbroken console any time soon? Also, if you run Linux on the PS4, you can run the linux build of RetroArch which you can play n64 on. RaiderNation and STLcardsWS like this.
The Expansion is very useful for Quake 2 as it boosts the framerate quite substantially. It is also useful for Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine where it boosts the game's resolution, framerate and it unlocks level 13 which is otherwise locked if you play with the Jumper Pak.
