13 Δεκ 2021 · I unlocked the bootloader on my AT&T Pixel 4XL in March 2022 right after I called AT&T's (actually Asurion) support to have them carrier unlock the device. For the record, I was using the esim for my AT&T service and I had unlocked the developer options previously, but OEM unlocking was greyed out.

7 Φεβ 2022 · I've called Verizon many times, and they claim they already unlocked it, but when I put another sim in I still get the message "Sorry, your device can't be activated on another carrier's network right now. For help, contact Verizon at (800) 922-0204 or (888) 294-6804 (prepaid plans)."
How to unlock your device: You must submit a request to unlock your AT&T phone or tablet. If your device meets the eligibility requirements, your request will be approved. Once your request is approved, you’ll get an email or text message with instructions to unlock your device.
