There are also 2 different methods of speaking Enochian, one which involves speaking it verbatim from the Enochian script itself, and the version which is spoken “phonetically”, which sounds more like regular speech.
7 Αυγ 2023 · This new language was called “Enochian,” named after the biblical prophet Enoch, who was said to have walked with angels and been given the knowledge of the secrets of heaven and earth. The alphabet consists of 21 unique letters.
The Enochian language possesses its own grammar and syntax (not derived from Hebrew), as well as a unique alphabet of twenty-one characters. The latter was first shown to Kelley on May 6, 1583 in a simple script form. Then, later, its proper, “talismanic” form was revealed.
The Enochian alphabet first appeared during the 16th century. The Court Astrologer and Magician, Dr. John Dee (1527-1608), and his associate, Sir Edward Kelly (1555-1597) claimed that the alphabet and the Enochian language was transmitted to them by angels.
Enochian as a pseudo language can be learned quite easily. This may sound impossible, however most university courses require more memorization in one semester! There are approximately 500 Enochian words that are contained within the original diaries (that I have found in the Enochian dictionaries).
