Hello r/PokemonROMhacks! browniebiznatch here with the new and improved ROM hacking guide! I will post all of the tutorials in this thread with a link on the sidebar. Eventually, I would like to make a GoogleDoc for a comprehensive hacking guide for the subreddit, but that's still a ways away.
I really wanted to have a ROM hack that looks at least close to a normal Pokémon game or even better. That means I would need to design my own tilesets or use the ones already in game. I would like to also come up with new buildings that look better than existing counterparts.
