Melee speed doesn't affect mining speed, they're handled as two different things in the games code (useTime and useAnimation, I believe) and since the game runs at 60 frames per second, that is the maximum mining speed you can hit (60 blocks per second)
21 Φεβ 2016 · Here are some quick tips on some tactics you can use while mining! Spelunker Potions will help you find treasure, valuable ore, and gems. You can place blocks in water, use this to your advantage to mine things off the bottom of a lake from underneath.
All you need is Antlion Mandibles, Blinkroot, and Bottled Water. Food: Food gives an active boost to mining speed, which stacks well with the above items. The best food buff is Exquisitely Stuffed, which can be easily be obtained from Seafood Dinners, but other fish meals should work as well.
