The metal detector is a kit-exclusive item added in the April 15, 2022 update. Players using the Metal Detector kit will spawn with this item in their inventory. It is not lost upon death. When equipping this item, players can look around for a white arrow pointing in a direction.
The Metal Detector kit provides players with a metal detector right at the start of the game. This detector’s function is to help locate hidden treasures scattered throughout the map. A white marker surrounds the crosshair, blinking at an increased frequency as the player nears the treasure.
