9 Σεπ 2021 · How Do Cards Work? You are given the chance to play cards every round. These cards contain the moves your Axie has in its arsenal. Moves could either be offensive or defensive in nature, depending on the type of Axie. You also start the match with 6 cards and draw 3 after every round thereafter. There are also card effects that alter an axie's Speed, you can utilize these effects to alter your axies' or your opponent's axies' turn order. Energy and Card Draw Each player starts with 3 Energy at the start of a match, and will get 2 additional Energy at the start of every round.

Once both players end their Turn, their played cards are revealed, and the Axies use their abilities according to their Speed stat. Each successive round after Round one adds two Luna energies to both players’ pools and three ability cards from their decks.
