1v1 spikeball is a great way to practice and bush up on skills. I'm not sure on the regular or 'official' way, but we usually play with a few simple modifications. We usually limit play to 180 degrees. Players can move anywhere they want to, but the ball must only land on the side opposite to them. 360 is too hard to defend in a 1v1 situation.
Today we’ll demonstrate how to play 1v1 Spikeball.
The other day I was only able to play with 1 other buddy and we slowly developed a fun way to play 1v1. Each player only gets 1 hit per possession, one player can only hit the net and the other is only allowed to 'pass'.

To play, first break into 2 teams of 2 and stand in a loose circle around the net, with Team A on one side and Team B on the other.
