If you’re already an accomplished musician or have a midi-instruments at the very least, you can plug your midi device into your PC and play with that as a controller.

When played on a computer, you can choose a “voice”, an instrument (or a group of instruments), and hear your computer’s rendition of whatever you downloaded or created. Playing in Rust is no different.
Playing Instruments. Once an instrument is equipped, you can play notes by using the numpad (by default). You can also hold numpad+ to play a sharp note and numpadenter to shift down an octave. Assign numbers from the numeric keypad on the right side of your keyboard for easier playing.
