Depending on the wound, i use hot water and soak the bandage (like in a shower) and slowly pull with the grain. I normally wrap gauze all the way around and just put the tape over gauze in a circle (hands, arms, feet) so no hair is implicated.

Removal • Loosen the tape’s leading edge. • For tape that is strongly adhered to the skin, consider using a medical grade adhesive remover or hand sanitizer to soften the adhesive along the peel line. • Do not pull tape perpendicular to the skin because it pulls at the epidermis, increasing the risk of MARSI.

25 Οκτ 2017 · You have two options for PSA removal: low and slow or distortion. With low and slow, pull back the PSA at a low horizontal angle, away from the corner or edge, separating it from the skin. Distortion requires stretching the PSA backing to shear the adhesive from the skin.
