18 Απρ 2020 · Don't heat the aluminum, it melts too easily, let it get it's heat from the bolt. Then I'd bang on the flat of the bolt head with a hammer. If you can't hit the head because of clearance issues, try using a drift pin/punch/another bolt against the stuck bolt and pound on that.

24 Νοε 2016 · I need to remove a lot of steel bolts from an aluminum engine block, they feel like "welded" in there because the level of rust. Just turning them would crack the part, or break the bolts. I wonder what's the best/fast way to remove them, with minimum parts damage.
12 Μαΐ 2009 · Once you get the bolt out, clean the hole with an aerosol such as 'Brake Cleaner' then air pressure, then run a tap down the hole and clean again. When re-assembling, use copious quantities of marine grease applied to the bolt threads.
